Chaplaincy

The Chaplain’s role is quite varied and no two days are the same.  On behalf of the church, the chaplain cares for the spiritual life of those in the school and acts as a faith presence accompanying students on their life journey. This is done in conjuction with the team of religion teachers through the facilitation of retreats, school liturgies, meditation, prayer services and by maintaining a link with the local church.

The chaplain also provides emotional support on a day to day basis, with everyday life events.  Along with the guidance counsellors, the chaplain is available to students who need someone to talk to, to provide a listening ear in a safe environment.
