 Boylan Travel Sponsors Jerseys

Over the course of the 2011-12 school year, local bus company owner Michael Boylan has sponsored two sets of jerseys bearing the logo ‘’Boylan Travel’’ for school teams in Banagher College.  At the beginning of the school year 2011-2012, Michael sponsored a set of camogie jerseys for the girls while later during the year he again came up trumps when he sponsored a set for the juvenile boys for Football and Hurling.

Michael supplies a total of four buses which do the daily school run twice a day and also provides transport for all the school activities near and far throughout the year.  The school are very grateful for his kind sponsorship.

U 14 Girls Football

U15 Soccer Final

Wilson’s Hospital, Multyfarnham 1 – 0 Banagher College:

Banagher College were narrowly edged out in the U-15 West Midland division2 final after a spectacular strike with ten minutes to go was enough to give victory to a talented Wilson’s Hospital team.

The Banagher lads could not be faulted for a brave effort that fell just short on the day. The defeat brought an end to Banagher’s winning streak and tarnished what had otherwise been a very successful return to the West Midland competition after an absence of some years. Particular credit must go to the TY coaching team of Gavin Troy and Declan O’ Neill who put in so much work with the team throughout the year.

Special thanks also to Pat Horan catering who sponsored the team on the day.

Banagher College Team:

Ben Conneely, Cáolan Kelly, Ronan Butler (captain), Rory Martin, Eoin Woods, Andy Flynn, Oisin Mannion, Shane Anthony Kelly, Michael Healy, Gianluca Perna, Oisin Kelly.

Subs: Colin Butler, Aidan Cannon, Aaoron Daly, Declan Boylan, Kahalim Guinan, Michael Harrington, Cormac Mahon, Conor Kenny.
